Check out Wade Roush’s article on podcasting in 2005 in the MIT Technology Review. It’s concise and informative. He includes links to software you can load right now on your PC or MAC. This software will allow you to download and then listen to podcasts being produced now from all over the world. If you don’t have a portable mp3 player, you’ll want one soon.
Over the holidays I purchased Photo IPOD. I find myself downloading Adam Curry’s podcast on a regular basis (typically every 3-4 days) along with Engadget’s and audios from IT Conversations. I’m hardly listening to regular radio anymore.
It’s happening!
