Google Might Host Wikipedia

More detail in the article “Google Offers to Host Wikipedia.”

Bottom line here is Wikipedia is becoming popular and it needs more bandwidth and more hardware. Honestly if you haven’t spent some time at www.Wikipedia.com you really should do so.  What surprised me was the amount of news that is available and a richness of related links with facts about the news.

The next time you just want to know more about a major world event, visit Wikipedia so you can develop a better feel for the country, the issue, the people, the history and so forth.  You’ll see why it’s so popular. Traditional news coverage can seem thin and pale by comparison.
