Picasa 2 – Photo Editing Tool – Released from Google

There is a lot going on in the news. One item that caught my eye is the new Picasa 2 release from Google. This is a free software program for managing your digital photographs. This new release has some amazing enhancements and, like the first release, Picasa is just so simple to use.

I have Adobe Photoelements 3.0 and I like it; however, this new release has me swaying back toward Picasa. I use a Nikon D70 and typically shoot in the Nikon Raw mode.  Wouldn’t you know it - Picasa 2.0 now supports that. Oh yeah!

There is a short but useful review by PC Magazine you may want to read for more information.
