Here is what I know: You can do absolutely nothing with your website and, in most cases (provided you don’t have any problems with your site), it will eventually be spidered by all the major search engines. Provided you have at least one other site that links to your new site, the search engine spiders will eventually find it and add the site to your index.
However, there are times when it helps to submit/resubmit your site manually to the links below. If you have a new site and you just want to speed up the process, then go ahead and submit it. If you’re making content changes or SEO changes to your website, then, each week this is happening, resubmit the site manually. It’s easy and it’s free.
But if you’ve made no changes, don’t submit/resubmit next week too, thinking more submissions are better. And don’t get suckered into those monthly resubmit arrangements where they promise to resubmit to hundreds of websites. That’s a waste of money. You can do this yourself, when and if it’s necessary. OK?
