Podscope Converts Audio Into Text and Makes it Searchable

This new – very new – site is http://www.podscope.com.
I got wind of it last week and asked them to index all my Podcasts. They
did.

Go there and type in ”BMC Software” in the Search box.

A file comes up: +
TPUpdate050410.mp3

Click on that +.

Then click on the green GO button and you’ll hear my voice where they
indexed my Podcast and found EXACTLY where I said “BMC Software” inside the
audio file.

Rather amazing, really. Just think of how nice it would be to able to reach
inside and audio file with word by word indexing. Gets me thinking of all
kinds of interesting applications for business.

Now search for ”
Talking Portraits”
or ”
Burning Man”
and you’ll see more of my Podasts come up.

Is this cool or what?!!!!

Podscope also supplies links to the Podcaster’s site, the Podcast itself,
and the Podcaster’s RSS feed.

Speech to text is looking better day by day.
