Sicola's Private Dining and Catering in Austin

Sicola Private Dining and Catering Austin TX

One the joys of helping small businesses with search engine visibility is the diversity I encounter.  I get to write up some fun blog articles too. Our latest client is a family-owned establishment that is solely focused on private dining, catering, or any private entertainment event; for example, weddings, business meetings or any small group wanting a place to be alone in high style. This business is Sicola's Private Dining - "A Culinary Experience"  in Austin, Texas.

Located at the site of the former Café Spiazzo at 5416 Parkcrest, Sicola's is the handiwork of master chef Stephen Sicola. His father, Tom, is also a partner. And Stephen produces menus for both dining in (they can seat up to about 45) and for catering that are absolutely tantalizing.  Check out their menus.  At the end of each month they open up their establishment for wine-tasting and a special meal.  You have to sign up in advance because space is limited.

Stephen is fully embracing a business blog for Sicola's, so look for that to be online in early May. I'm excited about this because the blog will provide a way to more fully express the depth and quality of the service they provide.  You just cannot fully appreciate how wonderful they are as people from a static brochure site (though their site is quite informative and beautiful).

My experience with private dining is to ask for a special room in a busy (typically noisy) restaurant.  I cannot say that I've ever been really impressed with such an arrangement.  However, when I walked into the Sicola's dining establishment, I quickly sensed a completely different feeling of privacy that would take such a dining experience well beyond my expectations.  I have visions of inviting 5 or 6 couples for a truly unique gourmet event where I could select the food and have a say in the wine, the music, the lighting and even the flowers on the table. I guess I'm just getting older because this all sounds so much more appealing than when I was younger.

This is what is exciting about working with successful small businesses.  I'll post another note when their business blog is up.

Bon appetit!

Tom
