What's New in the World of Robin Good
I have an unexpected treat for you. Robin Good contacted me about creating an audio update on various NewsMastering topics and some fast-breaking news for the blogging community. How could I refuse that offer?

Man, this guy never sleeps. I'm constantly amazed at the breadth and scope of ideas Robin Good has cooking and the folks he enrolls into helping with his vision. Truth is, I've learned a heck of a lot from him over the last year. So let's talk now with Robin and see what he's got on his mind in the March 10, 2005, TalkingPortraits Podcast.
In this conversation with Robin we talk about his newly released (and significantly updated) Ebook "The RSS Newsmaster's Toolkit" This is a 60-plus pages mini-guide providing full guidance to the production process required to create automatically aggregated vertical news feeds, and topic-specific information sites by leveraging the power of RSS. If you have any interest at all in learning how to automatically pull in filtered RSS Feeds and put them on your niche website, this is the guide to get. No hype, just lots of solid useful information. You can purchase it directly from him via this link "The RSS NewsMaster's Toolkit and the Creation of RSS Information Radars". Yes I recommend it, no I receive no compensation for it. I use it because it's a core component of my consulting work with clients.
During our talk we also discuss some innovative thinking Robin has done around the concept of "The Personal Media Aggregator, What it is and why it will bring a Revolution to Creation of Vertical Powerful Online Communities". Ok so that's a mouthful. This is the kind of thinking that makes me wish I had more hours in the evening to dig in and think about and experiment and prototype this conept. I have A feeling this concept is both powerful and potentially useful for a wide range of businesses growth opportunities.
We also cover yet another new series of thoughts around BioTeaming which is a term I presume he came up with. The discussion centered on the need for more comprehensive tools for virtual teaming and broading thinking of everyone on the teams to use the tools in a more productive manner.
Finally the big surpirse is 'out of the bag' already so I'll mention it here.
A Film For, By and About Bloggers: Open Source, P2P, Folksonomy-enabled, TheWeblogProject Is Here! - more on this in the audio and of course at that link.
