CL2 - Google Calendar No Longer a Rumor CL2 - Google Calendar No Longer a Rumor

Finally, the long-awaited and much-anticipated release of Google calendar, referred to as CL2, is here ... well, sort of.  Only a lucky 200 beta testers can lay their hands on it currently. If you want a close-in look via one of the beta testers, then skip on over to this link for all the fun.

Yes, Gmail is very tightly integrated into Google calendar. Isn't that what we all want, without the shackles of Microsoft Outlook?

From what I'm picking up, Google isn't rushing Google Calendar out to the masses to see what works and what doesn't and how people might use it. Thank goodness for this. I'm willing to wait a bit (well, not too much longer, I hope) for Google to really nail down all the features we want for a useful 1.0 release.

Visit the review at TechCrunch. Michael Arrington has all the details. No need for me to repeat all that here.

I am hopeful to see more first-hand, preferably sooner than later.

Tom
